Semcac has a distinguished record of assisting communities to identify housing needs. We then can offer many solutions to resolving those opportunities.

Semcac has the capacity to assist communities in developing housing. We also have knowledge of funding sources that can assist communities to meet their needs.

We serve communities of Southeastern Minnesota in the counties of Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Mower, Steele, and Winona.

Below is a list of housing projects Semcac has been involved with.

South Fork Addition is a 26 home mix-income development located in St. Charles. The project will feature 16 moderate income homes and 10 market rate lots. Semcac collaborated with First Homes, GMHF, SEMMCHRA, and the City of St. Charles on this project. More
Four Season Acres in Spring Grove has seventeen new lots available. Semcac is working with the developer to build three affordable starter homes. More

Prairie Village in Blooming Prairie is a sub-division that has affordable homes that were created by Semcac in partnership Merlyn Olson Homes. This beautiful addition to Blooming Prairie was completed in 2006. More

Pheasant Run Estates Phase II is a 33 home mix-income development located in Grand Meadow. The project features 12 moderate income homes, 11 market rate lots, and 10 townhomes. Semcac's 12 homes are sold and completed it's involvement in the spring of 2005. More
The Washington Crossing Project - the former Winona Middle School was remodeled into 62 apartments. This historic rehabilitation started in 2003 and features 42 low to moderate income apartments and 20 market rate units. Construction is complete and units were available in December of 2004. More
Capelle Subdivision in Spring Valley is a 12 home subdivision that was completed in September of 2002. Semcac developed the property, built and sold the homes. Semcac collaborated with First Homes, GMHF, and the City of Spring Valley on the project. More
Bluffview Manor in Brownsville is a 12 unit senior apartment building. Semcac in collaboration with MHFA and the City of Brownsville built this complex in 1997. Semcac transferred ownership of the building to the Brownsville HRA in 2002. More
