Our contact workers had the privilege of empowering a person from another country who has been living in the U.S. for a number of years.  There were still some language barriers and the person struggled with the culture.  Staff was willing and ready to come along side to help ensure that the goal of self-reliance was achieved.  The client felt welcomed and knew that respect and care was being offered.  Because of the efforts of caring staff and the programs that are provided this person is on the road to success.
