Semcac is thrilled to announce a generous donation of $50,000 from Olmsted Medical Center (OMC). This significant contribution will directly support Semcac’s mission to empower and advocate for individuals and families, enhancing self-sufficiency by maximizing community resources. The funds will focus on addressing food insecurity in southeastern Minnesota, a growing challenge that impacts many in the region. Semcac Senior Dining Location at Hy-Vee Rochester, 37th Street is closing 12/31/2024.

Semcac Senior Dining is closing its senior dining location/program at the 37th Street Hy-Vee in Rochester MN.  The last day for meals at this location will be December 31, 2024.  Other Senior dining noon meal options include 125 Live located at 125 Elton Hills Drive, Monday through Friday; the Family Service Rochester South Building located at 1625 US 14 on Mondays and Tuesdays; and noon meals at High Pointe, 1800 High Pointe Lane, Monday through Friday, Rochester.  If you are interested in dining at any of these locations, please contact us at 507-864-8231 for information and assistance. Fundraiser for a New Facility in Austin, Mower County

Semcac is seeking funding and donations for constructing a new facility on land purchased in Austin, MN - located in Mower County. This new facility will allow for Semcac to combine services in that county, under one roof which will be more convenient and efficient for clients and staff.
