Energy

The Community Development department at Semcac operates and administers energy-focused programs.  There are programs for assisting with paying the cost of energy in homes as well as making homes more energy efficient.

 Energy Assistance (EAP)

The Energy Assistance Program is federally funded. This program provides financial assistance to homeowners and renters who need assistance to afford to heat their home in the winter.

 

Weatherization

The Weatherization Assistance Program is a federally funded program that provides energy conservation home improvements to reduce energy consumption costs.  Homeowners and renters who apply and are eligible for the Energy Assistance Program are automatically screened for participation in the Weatherization Assistance Program.

 

HELP – Home Energy Licensed Professionals

Semcac Home Energy Licensed Professionals provide comprehensive energy audits with the highest quality professional equipment. This is a fee for service program.HELP (Home Energy Licensed Professionals)
