Get on Board
Semcac is actively looking for consumer board members in Dodge, Freeborn and Steele counties to be part of the Semcac Board. Being part of this dynamic group presents an opportunity to enhance leadership skills, diversify personal and professional networks, and contribute to empowering people in Southeast Minnesota.
The current board consists of committed individuals who enjoy participating in their communities and having an impact on the Agency’s direction. They are responsible for ensuring that Semcac fulfills its mission and maintains its financial health. The board oversees performance, establishes strategic goals, and leads the Agency through key policy decisions. A board member commits to a 4 year term, attends meetings and helps to mobilize resources.
Board meetings are held every second Monday of the month at the St. Charles Community Center located at 830 Whitewater Avenue. Meetings are typically held 6:30 p.m.– 8:00 p.m. Board members may receive reimbursement for mileage and child care expenses.
