Semcac Head Start in Austin is looking for a Full-Time County Coordinator. Semcac is looking for its next experienced leader to guide a team in its work to provide education to infants, toddlers, and preschool children, and develop genuine partnerships with parents. The County Coordinator will be responsible for leading the implementation of Head Start standards and practices. They will work closely with the interdisciplinary management team to ensure full implementation of regulations, program policies, and quality early childhood educational services to enrolled children and their families. Responsible for supervision of teams and ensuring positive family engagement in children’s center-based education.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, plus minimum of two (2) years program management and supervisory experience. Preferred prior experience with Head Start of at least one year, bilingual in Spanish, Karen, or Karenni. Office in Austin with some travel within the six-county service area required.
