Clinic

To ensure that youth and families have the support they need for heath, wellness, and successful lives, Semcac had offered family planning services since the early 1970’s. Services began in Rushford, MN and consisted of medical exams based on sliding fee scale and distribution of contraceptives at Semcac’s administrative office. In 1976, The Semcac Family Planning Clinic was established in downtown Winona. After several moves throughout Winona, in 2019,  Semcac Clinic moved to its beautiful current location within the Hiawatha Mental Health Center.

Over the years, Semcac Clinic has grown in its services and offerings.  Semcac Clinic provides outreach services, education to local schools, community involvement, expanded sliding scale fee services and bills to most insurances. Services have shifted over the years but a focus on wellness, family planning, education, and empowerment have always been at the forefront of the care they provide. Currently, Semcac employs a Certified Nurse Midwife, Registered Nurse, Program Assistant and Billing Specialist that come with many years of experience. All are welcome within the walls of Semcac Clinic!
