JOB STATUS: Semcac Transportation is hiring a full-time Operations Manager. Exempt position. 40 hours/week. Monday – Friday. 

LOCATION: Kasson, MN 

Ready to drive change in your community? Semcac Transportation is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to lead daily transportation operations, support staff development, and help improve mobility across southeastern Minnesota. As a key member of the leadership team, the Operations Manager will oversee routes, staff performance, budgets, and compliance, ensuring that every ride is safe, efficient, and customer-focused. The role also includes helping to modernize systems through technology, innovation, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
The Operations Manager will lead and mentor transportation staff, manage daily operations and service quality, oversee budgets, billing, and compliance, and support technology upgrades and process improvements. This position also represents Semcac at community and regional meetings, fostering strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the public.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: The position requires an Associate degree (two-year) in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates should have three to five years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operations management, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of DOT, FTA, and MnDOT standards. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) endorsement is preferred, or the candidate should be willing to obtain one within six months of hire.

COMPENSATION: $27.09 – $30.47.   Higher starting rates are available for those with 10 or more years of direct experience. Semcac offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes PTO, paid holidays, a 401(k) with employer match, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
