Head Start – Para – Austin
JOB STATUS: Semcac Head Start is seeking two dedicated and compassionate full-time paraprofessionals. Monday – Friday. 32-40 hours/week. 10-month position with summers off.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teacher in the classroom
- Assist in the preparation of the classroom
- Prep activities
- Perform classroom janitorial duties daily
- Attend training and staff meetings as required
- Follow established safety procedures
- Support and Model Semcac’s Code of Conduct and Behavior Guidance Policy and Procedure
- Assist with transportation activities as needed
COMPENSATION: $16.42-$$18.06. Higher starting rates are available for those with 10 or more years of direct experience. Semcac offers prorated holidays, a full benefit package, a 401(k) retirement plan, an Employee Assistance Program, and optional insurance benefits, including vision.
