Do you need your vehicle repaired but cannot afford it? Maybe Semcac can assist! See below.

Dodge, Steele, Waseca Counties:  Semcac partners with the Minnesota Prairie Alliance to provide a car repair program to income eligible households with one or more children, ages 1 – 18 years. The program is available for persons living in Dodge, Steele or Waseca counties. Households qualify if they earn 200% or less, of the federal poverty level.

Winona County:  Semcac received ARPA funding to provide the Car Repair Program in Winona County for a limited time. Households qualify if they earn 200% or less, of the federal poverty level. (In Winona, the Car Repair Assistance Program does not require a child to be in the household.)

NOTE: If this program has expended all funds (no funds remaining), please talk to a case manager / staff member about other potential options for transportation assistance.  Also, Car Repair Program payments are made directly to the local repair business/mechanic (not to client directly).
