Head Start-EHS Family Education Para-Winona
JOB STATUS: Semcac (EHS) Early Head Start is hiring a full-time (FEP) Family Education Paraprofessional. (36+ hours/wk), Monday – Friday, year-round position.
LOCATION: Winona, MN
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required or
- Two (2) years of post-secondary education in human services and three (3) years of related work experience, or a combined total of five (5) years of education and/or experience in the field.
- Completion of Family Services Credential within 18 months of hire (training provided).
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain

-Support teachers and assist in creating engaging learning environments
-Build strong, supportive relationships with families
-Help families connect with community resources and reach their goals
-Participate in home visits, conferences, and family activities
-Promote children’s development through positive interactions and play

COMPENSATION: $18.80–$20.68. Higher starting rates are available for those with 10 or more years of direct experience and a bilingualism differential of $.50/hr.
