Timeline for Energy Assistance Program processing applications

Applications can take 8 to 10 weeks to complete, you will be notified by mail or email if you qualify or not. During this time, we encourage you to contact your energy provider to schedule a reasonable payment plan.

Please call or email our office if you are facing disconnection or low (20% or less) to no fuel and your vendor has refused you a delivery. You were sent a letter of receipt when your application was received in our office and it can take up to 10 weeks to process your application. You will be notified by mail or email if additional information is needed or when eligibility is determined. Thank you.
