Semcac Transportation – Bus Operator (2 Positions)
JOB STATUS: Semcac Transportation is hiring two full-time Bus Operators. 32+ hours/week. Monday – Friday.
As a Bus Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting passengers, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring each ride is comfortable and reliable. You’ll play a key role in supporting individuals who depend on us to get to work, medical appointments, and daily activities—making you an essential part of their independence.
This position includes operating transit vehicles, assisting passengers as needed, maintaining schedules, and completing required documentation. You’ll also help uphold safety standards and contribute to a positive experience for every rider.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and three to six months related experience.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATES
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) w/ Passenger Endorsement or ability to obtain within two (2) weeks of employment.
- Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- Must pass the mandatory Pre-employment Drug Screen prior to employment.
- Obtain CPR and First Aid Certification within the first year of employment.
COMPENSATION: $21.08- $23.45 Higher starting rates are available for those with 10 or more years of direct experience. Semcac offers competitive pay, great benefits, and a supportive, team-oriented environment where your work truly matters.
