Semcac Food Shelves to Receive Matched Monetary Donations The Masonic Lodges in Rushford, Caledonia and Preston are matching monetary donations to the Semcac food shelves in those towns, dollar-for-dollar for 3 entire months: December 2014 through February 2015! Quick Start Disaster Recovery Program – June Flooding

Funds Available for Homeowners and Property Rental Owners Affected by June Flooding Minnesota Housing loan programs offer up to $70,000 in assistance Residents affected by June flooding in Dodge, Freeborn, Rice and Steele counties and Prairie Island Indian Community may be eligible for state loans up to $70,000 through Minnesota Housing. Funds are for capital improvements that return the home to pre-disaster or comparable condition. There are two loan programs available:  Community Fix Up flood loans can provide up to $50,000 in repair funding for residents with qualifying credit. Semcac assisted 32,932 individuals in 2013.     (3,570 had disabilities;19,105 were senior citizens.) 1,906 volunteers gave 113,953 hours of service to Semcac.
