Free health screening offered in Rushford

Fillmore County Public Health (FCPH) and Semcac are partnering to host a low-cost blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screening on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 7:30 to 9:30 AM at the Tenborg Center in Rushford. The cost of the screening is $11.00 and due at the time of service.

To participate in the screening you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Not currently receiving medical treatment for cholesterol.
• Fast or not eat anything for at least 8 to 10 hours prior to your screening. You may drink plain water, tea, or coffee.

Your five cholesterol measurements, glucose level, blood pressure reading, and any health recommendations will be made available to you right away. Your health information and results will be confidential. Schedule an appointment by calling Semcac at 507-864-7741.
