Parade of Lights to benefit SEMCAC Food Shelf in Rushford

Cookies, cocoa and cider will be served at the Rushford Fire Hall during and after the parade. Residents are asked to bring donations of non-perishable foods or monetary donations to benefit the SEMCAC Food Shelf in Rushford, said Kari Johnson of Merchants Bank in Rushford.
“Our employees at our bank have been involved in this event for 19 years,” Johnson said. “We look forward to seeing everyone and lighting up the streets here in Rushford.”
Johnson emphasized that everyone in the area is invited to the event. She said that about 30 entries are expected for the parade.
