Semcac will Operate Local Bus Service Starting Jan. 2, 2014

    Semcac will begin operating Stewartville's local bus service on Jan. 2, 2014. So says Erlene Welshons, transportation director for the nonprofit community action agency. The new bus, to be known as "Rolling Hills Transit," will be available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will offer rides at the exact rates previously charged by the city of Stewartville, which oversaw the operation of Grisim School Bus's Heartland Express Bus, Welshons said.
