Semcac is seeking funding and donations for constructing a new facility on land purchased in Austin, MN - located in Mower County. This new facility will allow for Semcac to combine services in that county, under one roof which will be more convenient and efficient for clients and staff. The plans for this location include the following: 1- Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms - for approx. 100+ income-eligible students (free pre-K education) & offices for Head Start staff. He attended the meeting to discuss the program, Rushford bus details, area community details on ridership, services provided, funding needs, and plans.
