2024-2025 ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM YEAR HAS ENDED

Applications for the 2024-2025 Energy Assistance program are no longer being accepted. The program will resume on October 1, 2025, for the 2025-2026 program year.  If you applied and were eligible during the 2024-2025 program year, an application will automatically be mailed to you in September. If you are a new applicant and would like to be on the mailing list for an application this fall, please send your name and address to eap@semcac.org or call 800-944-3281.

Olmsted Medical Center Donates $50,000 to Support Semcac’s Mission

Semcac is thrilled to announce a generous donation of $50,000 from Olmsted Medical Center (OMC). This significant contribution will directly support Semcac’s mission to empower and advocate for individuals and families, enhancing self-sufficiency by maximizing community resources. The funds will focus on addressing food insecurity in southeastern Minnesota, a growing challenge that impacts many in the region. Semcac Senior Dining Location at Hy-Vee Rochester, 37th Street is closing 12/31/2024.

Fundraiser for a New Facility in Austin, Mower County

Semcac is seeking funding and donations for constructing a new facility on land purchased in Austin, MN - located in Mower County. This new facility will allow for Semcac to combine services in that county, under one roof which will be more convenient and efficient for clients and staff.
